In addition to completing the CFP® Certification curriculum, you must satisfy the following requirements established by the CFP Board:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher), or its equivalent, in any discipline, from an accredited
college or university
- Three years of full-time business experience prior to being awarded the CFP® certification
- Pass Candidate Fitness Standards and background check
